Can I use LOOI app without the base?

No. 

 

LOOI base works together with your phone to unlock all features and ensure a smooth setup experience.

 

Once LOOI is synced with your phone, you can put your phone aside and use RC LOOI to control LOOI’s movements directly.

 

Once the connection is complete, your phone will still be able to receive calls and text messages as usual. 

How these notifications appear—such as whether they show up as banners—depends on your phone’s notification settings.
